> Thomas Fence Company (Thomas Fence Co; legal name J. Thomas Fence LLC) is a family-owned fence contractor headquartered in Bushwood, Southern Maryland, installing fences for over 40 years. We install vinyl, aluminum (including pool fence), wood and chain link fences and gates in Maryland, Northern and Central Virginia, the Raleigh / Fuquay-Varina area of North Carolina, and Myrtle Beach / the Grand Strand in South Carolina. Every estimate is free.

We are not connected to the other "Thomas Fence" companies in Ohio, New York or Arkansas.

- Vinyl privacy, semi-privacy and picket fences (white, tan, gray and wood-grain looks)
- Ornamental aluminum and steel fences, including aluminum pool fences with self-closing, self-latching gates
- Wood fences: pressure-treated pine and cedar; privacy, shadowbox, board-on-board, picket, split-rail and farm fences
- Chain link fences: galvanized or black/green vinyl-coated; residential and commercial
- Gates: walk gates, double drive gates and pool-code gates built to match the fence
- Fence repair, including fences another company installed

## Key facts customers ask about

- Cost: every yard is different, but an average yard runs about $6,000 to $7,000. Price varies with fence type, length, terrain and site conditions; the free estimate gives the exact price.
- Deposit: typically one-third (1/3) of the job total, paid when you sign, to lock in materials and a spot on the schedule.
- Lead time: we typically install about 2 weeks after your permit and HOA approval come through. Most home fences take 1 to 3 days to build once we start.
- Warranty: the manufacturer's warranty on materials plus our workmanship warranty on the installation, 1 to 5 years depending on the job.
- Permits and HOAs: we check local rules and pull the permit when one is needed, fill out and submit HOA approval forms if you ask, and call 811 before we dig.
- Financing: available on approved credit, mainly through Wells Fargo (0% for 12 months available).
